MATT FORDE

Matt Forde, also known as “Matt Drummer,” is a Los Angeles native who up until recently, has been sailing the seas on cruise ships as a first call corporate musician.

He is in the continuing process of creating the most comprehensive Open Hand Drumming Series on the market.

He has performed in front of millions weekly with a live simulcast TV house band in the late 90's.

His original music has been played on radio stations throughout the Southern region as well as being licensed around the world.

"When playing cover tunes on ships, or anywhere for that matter, the challenge for every drummer -up until now- is to play the familiar percussive backing tracks like cowbell, tambourine, bongo's, agogo bells...live, while still keeping time with a solid high - hat, snare, kick-groove. Open Hand playing solves this problem wonderfully.
Open-Hand drummers can sound like two drummers when the music calls for it- And it usually does."

 -Matt "Drummer" Forde
